We threw a surprise party for my mom's 50th birthday on June 9th.

Getting Ready

So I've been getting ready to leave for the Peace Corps by doing things like taking trips. Last weekend I went to Rhode Island with my Dad, Carolyn (stepmom), brother Nate (in pic), Carolyn's brother and wife and their 3 (very cute) kids, and Carolyn's mom Isabel. We had such a fun time! Plus - I got to hang out with my Maria and suprise the boys at Flacos. Good times.

Beautiful Apple

I need to thank my Auntie Carol for helping me buy a new apple computer - MacBook. It's amazingly fast, clean, and fun to use. My favorite feature so far is the Photo Booth. With the built in camera you can take pictures and then set the different effects to morph the image. I can foresee hours of entertainment when I'm in my yurt in Kyrgyzstan!
